Verena Hall (1994)
Verena Hall works primarily with painting, occasionally expanding her practice into installation. Her work is characterised by a quiet, refined aesthetic that is disrupted by unexpected choices, preventing it from becoming merely decorative. Recurring themes in her practice include light, time, and the transformation of seemingly ordinary or overlooked materials and subjects into something of value.
After graduating at the Amsterdam University of Arts (2017), Verena Hall combined working as a visual artist with part time teaching. In 2025 she started her Masters in Painting at LUCA School of Arts, Ghent.
Verena Hall is currently situated in both Amsterdam (Netherlands) and Ghent (Belgium).
